Hanser Music Group began in 1924 as Davitt & Hanser Music, a retail music store in Cincinnati, Ohio and eventually became one of the largest distributors of music products in the United States.

Hanser Music Group was the owner of several globally recognized brands including Kustom Amplification, BC Rich Guitars, Nuvo Technologies, Powerwerks PA, Dawn Pro Audio, Bad Cat Cougar Series tube amplifiers, Michael Kelly Guitars and Traben Basses. HMG was also the US distributor for premium brands such as Warwick, Spector Basses, Premier Drums and Floyd Rose Guitars among others.

Today we focus on what we do best – OEM manufacturing and production through Hanser Development and Engineering, Kustom Amplification and Powerwerks PA.
